How the online 5-Hour Course works
Everything is done online in just one session. You only need your NY learner permit, a quiet place, and a phone, tablet, or computer with internet.

Select an evening or weekend Zoom class that fits your schedule and complete registration online.
Join the live Zoom class
On the day of class, use the Zoom link we send by email/SMS. A certified instructor will guide you through all 5 hours.
Receive your certificate
After completing the class, you’ll receive your MV-278 pre-licensing certificate and can schedule your road test.
